Designating a goal
Specify goals to be displayed in Simple Navigation.
On the AVVENTURA, navigation will begin from [Point 1]. Upon arriving at Point 1, the navigation will switch to [Point 2]. Simple Navigation can be used to show information for up to 10 successively specified points.
Important
Specified points are transferred to the AVVENTURA when connecting the device to the smartphone (Cateye Cycling™).
* When connected to the smartphone, [Connect] will be displayed on the AVVENTURA, or will be displayed on the measurement screen.
* After the settings have been applied, switch [Connect] off.
Smartphone
Follow the procedure below.
• (Other) > [Device] > [AVVENTURA] > [Simple Navigation]
• (Trip) > [Quick Set] > [Simple Navigation]
1. From [AVVENTURA] or [Quick Set], tap [Simple Navigation].
In [Simple Navigation] up to 10 goals can be specified, which will be displayed in order.
2. Tap the goal.
Specify a goal using one of the four methods below.
• Search by keyword
Enter an address or keyword in the search field.
* If multiple pins appear, tap the pin to select as the goal.
• Select from a map
Tap and hold the location of the goal in the map to drop a pin on the map.
• Select from smartphone contacts
Tap [Select from Contacts] to select a goal from the addresses of your registered contacts.
• Select from history
Tap [History] to select a goal from the history list.
3. Specify a goal.
Tap a pin to show the balloon display, and tap [Set as Goal].
That location will be set as the goal.
Designating subsequent goalsRepeat the procedure to specify subsequent goals.
Each goal will be registered as a new point. (Up to 10 points can be specified).
Revising goal order or removing goalsTap [Edit] to change the order of goals or to delete a goal.
