Compliance with Applicable Laws and Ordinances:
The Company will act in strict compliance with any and all applicable laws and ordinances as well as other guidelines as established by the competent authorities.
Acquisition of Personal Information:
The Company will obtain any personal information, defining the specific purpose of use of such information, by using any lawful and fair method, and when legally required. The Company will, if and when it collects any personal information, clearly show its purpose of collecting such information, except when such purpose is apparent from the circumstances at the collection.
Use of Personal Information:
The Company will use any personal information within the scope of its purpose of use of such information, not for any other purpose.
Securing of Personal Information:
The Company will effect necessary measures for the purpose of securing the safety of any and all personal information which it possesses, including measures for information security and other measures to direct and supervise such parties as will be commissioned with the work of performing any business to protect such information.
Disclosure or Offer to Third Parties:
Except when previously agreed to by the person in question, or when allowed by applicable laws and ordinances, the Company will not disclose, or otherwise offer any personal information to any third party.
Inquiry about Personal Information:
The Company will, if and when it receives any inquiry about any personal information from the person in question, promptly answer to, and otherwise handle, such inquiry appropriately in accordance with its prescribed relevant method and procedure. The same shall apply to any demand for disclosure, alteration or deletion, other request or complaint which may come from the person in question in connection with any personal information.

The Company makes efforts to continuously improve its actions to cope with, or otherwise handle any problem relating to any personal information.
Cateye Cycling Privacy Policy
CATEYE Co., Ltd., processes User Information through the following system (Our System) in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
Our System is as described below, including the three components:
・"Our Application" means Cateye Cycling
・"Cyclocomputer" means our company's bicycle computer that connects with Our Application.
・"Sensor" means the Bluetooth SMART® sensor manufactured by our company that connects with Our Application and the Cyclocomputer.
1. Information collected by Our System
Our System collects the following information (herein collectively referred to as "User Information"). Our System includes the function of saving and displaying the information collected by Our Application and the Sensor within Our Application and/or the Cyclocomputer.(1) Information collected by Our Application

A) Location information
Users can record their location information while tracking their cycling using their smartphone GPS functionality. In order to record location information using Our Application, please record Trip Information after grant permission for Our Application to use your phone's GPS functionality. Our Application records location information at intervals set by the User until the User takes action to stop such recording.
Users can enjoy the other functionality of Our Application without recording location information but such other functions will be limited to those that do not relate to location information.
B) Connection between Our Application and the Cyclocomputer
Users can display a portion of the information collected by Our Application on the Cyclocomputer connected to Our Application.
(2) Information collected by the Sensor
The Sensor and other connected third-party products, described in C below, collect the following information (hereinafter referred to as the "Sensing Information") according to the functionality of each Sensor and product.

A) Sensing Information displayed and saved by Our Application
When the User connects the Sensor to Our Application and Sensing Information is collected, Our Application is able to display and save the Sensing Information.
In addition to connecting the Sensor and Our Application, if the User also connects the Cyclocomputer and collects Sensing Information, the Sensing Information may be displayed or saved by Our Application and also displayed on the Cyclocomputer. In this case, the Sensing Information will not be saved in the Cyclocomouter.
B) Displaying and saving Sensing Information on the Cyclocomputer
If the User connects the Sensor to the Cyclocomputer and collects the Sensing Information (when Our Application is not connected), then the Sensing Information is saved and displayed on the Cyclocomputer. If, after collecting the Sensing Information, the User connects Our Application to the Cyclocomputer, the Sensing Information saved on the Cyclocomputer can be manually transferred to Our Application. In this case, the transferred Sensing Information will be deleted from the Cyclocomputer.
C) Use of connected third-party products
Users can also collect Sensing Information by using Bluetooth SMART® sensors and other products manufactured by third parties instead of our company's Sensor. However, we cannot guarantee Our System will be able to accept all data collected by third-party products.
2. Purpose and Legal Basis for processing User Information
Our System uses collected information to provide services under Our System.
Our System processes User Information based on Users' consent. Users can, at any time, withdraw their consent, erase Our Application and stop their use of Our System.
3. Saving and deleting User Information
Except for information saved by a User on a backup service or information provided to external connected services, all information collected by Our Application is saved on the smartphone on which Our Application was installed.
Please uninstall Our Application in order to completely delete all User Information saved in Our Application. By using Our Application, Users can also individually delete cycling records saved therein.
By reformatting the Cyclocomputer, Users can completely delete all of the saved User Information. If Users would like to delete cycling records saved on the Cyclocomputer, Users can delete such records by manually transferring the records to Our Application.
When necessary, Users can back-up their cycling records to iCloud/Google Drive and, once this backup is completed, Users can restore their cycling records when switching to a new model of phone or reinstalling Our Application. Backups that are no longer needed can be deleted through using iCloud/Google Drive.
4. Connection with CATEYE Atlas
If a User wishes, among the information saved in Our Application, the User may upload to CATEYE Atlas Trip Information and Sensing Information. For the privacy policy of CATEYE Atlas, please see https://www.cateyeatlas.com/privacy/
5. Providing User Information to connected external services
If desired, Users can use the functions of Our Application to connect information saved on Our Application to the following connected external services. Our Application will never send User Information to us or third parties without the User's consent.
(1) Connection with STRAVA
If desired, among the information saved in Our Application, Users can transfer Trip Information and Sensing Information to STRAVA in order to have it saved thereby.(2) Connection with TRAINING PEAKS
If desired, among the information saved in Our Application, Users can transfer Trip Information and Sensing Information to TRAINING PEAKS in order to have it saved thereby.6. Information security
Our System has the appropriate technical measures in place to prevent unauthorized access, loss, destruction, tampering, leakage, etc., of User Information.
7. Users' rights regarding Our System
To the extent permitted by law applicable to each User or Japanese law, Users have the right to access, correct, delete, impose processing restrictions and enact data portability regarding User Information. For the specific methods of exercising such rights, please refer to the descriptions in 3 to 5 above and, if necessary, please contact us as described in 8 below.

CatEyeSYNC Privacy Policy
CATEYE Co., Ltd., processes User Information through the following system (Our System) in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
・"Our Application" means CatEyeSYNC
・"Light" means the light manufactured by our company that connects with Our Application.

Due to the requirements of the Android operating system, Our Application needs to collect location information in order to link Our Application with the Light through Bluetooth. However, such location information is only used for the purpose of linking Our Application and the Light through Bluetooth and is not sent to our company or any third parties.
